�� SECRETS of a seven-SEGMENT MATRIX

Did you know that in Segment matrices, the structure is similar to Filaments, but not filaments?  So this is a secret for you!

Segment indicators are always called Led indicators, but this is as conditional as calling a gas-Discharge light Bulb-an incandescent Lamp - because there are filaments here and there.

It is very difficult to look inside the new segment matrices, but in my pantry there were several different types of Segment indicators with transparent cases, such as those put in the old electronic clock type "electronics 2" (I can be mistaken).

These seven-segment indicators with a dot have transparent cases, some are transparent on all sides, and with the help of a magnifier, I photographed the internal structure of these indicators.

When considering the classic LEDs that we are used to (look like this)

I didn't find it. Instead of LEDs, seven-segment indicators contain structures resembling "printed circuit boards" or" ladders " lying on gold-plated substrates.

In addition to my surprise at the structural geometry of the light-emitting elements, I was Struck by the fact that the junction between the different segments was glowing.
